LET’S PUT IT TOGETHER

From an answer
to a next step.

Set up your connection once, then let it become part of the way you work.

Read the Youform payment setup guide
  1. Define the order

Ask for the service or item, quantity, and contact details. Explain what the customer is buying and what still needs your confirmation.

  2. Add the Payment block

Connect an active Stripe account from the Payment block using Youform Pro or Business.

  3. Set the amount and currency

Use a fixed amount or configure logic to calculate the @price variable. Choose a supported currency and review every priced option.

  4. Configure receipts and review the handoff

Map an email field in the payment settings to send receipts. Check the order details, total, and payment status before sharing the form. Use confirmed payment records in your fulfilment process.

GOOD THINGS YOU COULD SET IN MOTION

A few ideas
to get you started.

A defined service package

Collect the brief and charge for a package with an agreed scope. Send requests outside that scope for review before quoting a price.

A project deposit

Make clear what the initial payment covers, what remains due, and when your team confirms the work. Collecting a deposit does not automatically schedule the project.

A customer order

Gather item choices and delivery details with payment. Manage stock, shipping, and order changes through your own fulfilment process.

A paid business workshop

Ask for attendee details and collect the registration fee. Review capacity and explain how the place is confirmed.

GOOD QUESTIONS

Need a hand with your setup?

Talk to the Youform team
Can I collect payment and other details together?
Yes. Add a payment field alongside your other form questions. Configure the payment in Youform and connect the Stripe account you want to use.
What will it cost?
Collecting payments requires Youform Pro or Business. Stripe processing fees also apply; check Stripe’s pricing for your country and payment methods.
Can the amount depend on the customer’s answers?
Yes. Configure logic to calculate @price and select that value in the Payment block. Review the amount for each option and explain what is included.
Do all payment methods work in embedded forms?
No. Youform’s payment guide specifies card payments for embedded forms. Klarna or Afterpay require a standalone form link plus supported Stripe capabilities and currency. Check the setup guide for current requirements.
Does a payment confirm stock or reserve a service date?
No. Confirm stock, scope, and availability through your own order process. Explain when an order is accepted and how the customer can contact you about changes.
